Studies show that waking up early clearly leads to productivity, a healthier work-life balance, and greater success at work. Count in Apple CEO Tim Cook, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, and Benjamin Franklin who are all well known early birds that start their day as early as 4am.

Here are some easy adjustments you can do in order to get a head start on your day, or even just make your mornings somewhat less awful. Sorry night owls, 4 cups of coffee really doesn’t cut it here:
